Welcome to visit our Home Page. The Pacific Seafarers Mission evangelizes seafarers when they come to the port of Long Beach, California, and the port of Houston, Texas, USA. Our missionaries go aboard the ship to meet sailors from all over the world. Typical activities include preaching the gospel of our Savior Jesus Christ, leading worship, and conducting Bible study in different languages. We also counsel the seafarers, comfort them, encourage them and pray with them for a better life as a sailor. In addition, we
distribute evangelism booklets and gifts to the seafarers. Finally, we encourage people to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.

A new paradigm for world missions
2015년 창립 이후로 Pacific Seafarers Mission 팀에서는 막혀가는 세계 선교의 새로운 돌파구를 위해 끊임없이 노력했습니다. 우리는 세계 최강의 미국이라는 나라 덕분에 누리는 베네핏이 일상생활 뿐 만 아니라, 복음 선교 영역에서도 잘 활용할 수 있는 천혜의 자원이라 생각하고 있습니다. 미국은 세계 모든 국가들과 모든 사람들이 한번쯤 방문하고 싶어 합니다. 그리하여 미국을 방문하는 여행객과 유학생들은 물론 무역선에 승선하여 단기간 미국 항만에 입항하는 외국 선원들도 예수님의 사랑의 영역에서 벗어나지 않는다는 사실을 인식하고 항만에서 복음의 기치를 내걸었습니다. 그리하여 지난 20여년간 수천척의 선박에서 수만명의 선원들에게 복음을 전할 수 있었고, 영혼 구원의 목표를 달성할 수 있었습니다. 그리하여 제3세계에서는 천대 받는 선교사들의 자리를 미국 항만에서 제3세계의 선원들에게 복음을 전하므로 그 자리를 조금이나마 대신 할 수 있었다고 자부합니다. 우리는 "땅 끝까지 가서 복음을 전하라."는 구주 예수님의 지상 대 명령을 조금이나마 수행 할 수 있었다고 자부합니다.
Since its founding in 2015, the Pacific Seafarers Mission team has worked tirelessly for new breakthroughs in world missions that have been blocked. We believe that the benefits we enjoy thanks to the United States, the world's strongest country, are a natural resource that can be utilized not only in our daily lives but also in the field of gospel missions. America is something that every country and every person in the world wants to visit at least once. Thus, foreign sailors who board trade ships and enter American ports for a short period of time, as well as tourists visiting the United States and foreign students, recognized the fact that they do not deviate from the realm of Jesus' love, and raised the banner of the gospel in the ports. Thus, over the past 20 years, we have been able to preach the gospel to tens of thousands of sailors on thousands of ships and achieve the goal of saving souls. Thus, I am proud that I was able to replace the position of the missionaries who were looked down upon in the 3rd world by preaching the gospel to the sailors of the 3rd world in American ports. We are proud that we have been able to carry out, albeit a little bit, the Great Command of the Savior Jesus, "Go to the ends of the earth and preach the gospel."

Texas Houston Harbor
Missionary Rev. Sung J Lee
Pastor Sung J Lee is currently serving as a professional missionary in the Texas Port of Houston. He has been pastoring a new church in a local church for 14 years in Korea. He also served 6 years in local church ministry and 20years in harbor mission work in the United States. In the meantime, he has specialized in ship missions alone for 20 years in the Oakland (California), Long Beach (California), and Houston (Texas) areas. He was convinced of the vocation that God had called as a ship missionary in the United States, and ran tirelessly for the salvation of abandoned souls. He is a person who knows the value and worth of soul salvation. He has the responsibility to continue this ministry for the rest of his life.
이성재 목사는 현재 휴스턴 텍사스 휴스턴 항만에서 전문 선교사로 사역하고 있습니다. 그는 한국에서 14년 지역교회에서 개척교회 목회를 하였습니다. 그리고 미국에서 지역교회 목회 6년, 항만 선교사역 20년을 사역하였습니다. 그동안 오클랜드(캘리포니아), 롱비치(캘리포니아), 휴스턴(텍사스), 지역에서 20년간 선박선교만 전문적으로 사역해 왔습니다. 그는 이 미국에서 하나님께서 선박선교사로 부르셨다는 소명을 확신하고, 버려진 영혼들 같은 선원들의 구원을 위하여 쉼없이 달려왔습니다. 그는 영혼 구원의 가치와 보람을 잘 알고 있는 사람입니다. 앞으로 남은 생애 동안 이 사역을 계속 진행할 책무를 가지고 있습니다.
롱비치 항만(Long beach Harbor)
Long Beach Harbor Mission has a long history. Prior to the ministry of Pastor Sung J Lee, Elder Iksam Jun, Pastor Bongki Cho, and Pastor Myeonggu Han had passionate ministries. And Pastor Sung J Lee served as a port chaplain (missionary) for 15 years from 2007 to 2021, and in January 2021, by God's command, he moved his ministry to Houston Texas Port. Missionary Namhwan An is currently serving as the successor to Pastor Sung J Lee, taking over the baton. In addition, Indian missionary Pastor Samson Chauhan is also working together. And at the Port of Oakland, California, Pastor Young J You is serving as a port chaplain.
롱비치 항만 선교사역은 오랜 역사를 가지고 있습니다. 이성재 목사가 사역하기 이전에 전익삼장로님, 조봉기목사님, 한명구목사님, 이런 분들의 열정적인 사역이 있었습니다. 그리고 이성재 목사는 2007년부터 2021년까지 15년간 항만 채플린(선교사)로 사역했으며, 2021년 1월 하나님의 명령으로 휴스턴 텍사스 항만으로 사역지를 옮겼습니다. 이성재 목사 후임으로 현재 안남환 선교사님이 바톤을 이어받아 사역하고 있습니다. 더불어 인도 선교사님 Samson Chauhan 목사님도 함께 사역 하고 있습니다. 그리고 캘리포니아 오클랜드 항만에서는 유영준 목사님이 항만 채플린으로 사역하고 있습니다.
